Premarital Sex

Is it OK to have SEX before MARRIAGE?

YES. No big deal. That's how we show our LOVE for each other.
NO. Virginity is the best wedding gift to each other.

Have you thought about this question? Is it a YES or a NO? Does it matter?

It is natural to feel desires when you're in love with someone. Especially teenagers since they are in undergoing  body changes from children to young adults. Plus the peer pressure during these stages are so intense that it's easier to give in than to hold on.

If you're still a virgin, is something wrong with you? Not really. Actually you might feel good and proud of yourself because sometimes it's nice to be different.

WHY?

Having sex out of marriage gives you a 'sudden rush' of happiness but with BITTER AFTER TASTE.

  • You might feel guilty, sinful, maltreated and a failure. Guilty and sinful that you succumbed to this desires. Failed to say "NO" and wait until its the right time.  Maltreated by your partner because you felt that he just "USED" you. Proverbs 5:9 warns us not to give our dignity to others. The truth is there is no LOVE among those who abuse their bodies in sexual activities, all there is is just lust and short-lived self gratification.
  • Unwanted Pregnancy that can also lead to ABORTION. Knowing someone who have sexual relationship without getting pregnant doesn't guarantee you to be safe. The truth is even using birth control will not give you a 100% protection. Pain and regret during abortion is emotionally tiring, read our dedication to the unborn here.
  • Sexually Transmitted Diseases. Of course, you don't have it now, but remember you reap what you saw (Galatians 6:7) so when you does, you will definitely regret it. :3

  1. Having sex out of marriage gives "Unwanted Pregnancy that can also lead to ABORTION". Statistics shows that 28% of abortion happens for married individuals.

Sexually Transmitted Diseases, this also happens on vast number of couples.

I agree on the first item. The feeling of guilt and sinful happens.

  3. @Marisse: very well said, if abortion in married couples happens, whats more to unmarried people, young and adult?

@Nath: so true, one can feel "IN" during the highlight but when the excitement and fun is gone, one can actually feel being hurt instead
